My TESTIMONY
Before Jesus saved me:
1 John 3:6 “No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.”

Sexual defiance (threesomes), swingers clubs, hedonism, masturbation you name it!
Adultery
Fornicating
Drug addiction (all sort of drugs)
Lying
Gossiping
Huge void in my heart
Covetous
Unforgiving spirit/Bitterness/resentment
Hatred
Judgmental spirit
Jealousy/envy
Pride. So much pride
Party spirit
loving horror movies
Strip clubs/clubs
Secular music
Seeking revenge
Guilt and shame over my sin
No prayer lifestyle
Religious spirit
Netflix
Got my validation and identity from the outside
Social media and attention seeking
Worshiping my husband
Vulgar dancing/sensuality in my actions and dressing
Drunkenness
Cussing
Never read the Bible
Enjoyed praise and worship music
Sinful lifestyle
Rebelling against God thinking I loved Him
Worldly sorrow and no repentance
No assurance of salvation and heaven
Idolatry-zodiac signs/Idolatry
Fearful-fear of death
Sowing to my flesh
Selfish goals and ambitions
“Living my best life”
Hoping in God
Sinner headed to hell
Living for my personal desires, goals and ambitions
No desire to serve in church/sinful desires
People-pleaser
In a ‘marriage’ not ordained by God
I didn’t know God (Jesus)
Born of man
Slave to sin
Child of the devil
Chosen by God
After Jesus saved me and the Holy Spirit came to dwell in me:
1 John 3:9 “No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.”
Abstinence from sex (waiting on my husband)
No porn, no masturbation
No fornicating
No illegal drugs
No habitual lying
No gossiping
No coveting/envy
Humble spirit
No more nightlife/clubs/night parties
No more horror movies
No movies with sex or crude language
Pureflix (movies-no horror, no sex, no violence)
No social media and attention seeking
Read the Bible daily. I now hunger and thirst for the Word and to be in God’s Presence continuously
I now worship my Lord and Savior Jesus with music
Prayer is daily continual habit now
No more foul language
Self control with alcohol (no drunkenness)
Christian music only
No more revenge seeking (trusting that God is my vindicator and leaving vengeance to Him
I’m in relationship with Jesus now
I offer grace to others easily
Forgiving spirit
Modest dressing
Obeying God knowing I love Him because He loved me first
Self-control
Slave to righteous living
Great desire to serve in church/godly desires
Increasing Knowledge of God
Trusting God
100% assurance of my salvation and going to heaven because of the precious blood of Jesus
Spirit-led and following Jesus
Born again/born of God/Born of the Holy Spirit
Worshipping God only
Goals and ambitions are to only serve the kingdom of God
Fearless. No fear of death because i know that means i’m going home to be with Jesus forever!
Genuinely loving others

Living only for God’s glory

Deep godly sorrow over my sin and repentance

1 John 3:1-10
“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure. 4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. 5 You know that he appeared to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. 6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God. 10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.”
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
“If your faith is not changing you to be more Christ-like then it is not saving you.”
To conclude, 2 Corinthians 13:5 “Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves…” Matthew 7:21-23 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?' Then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers'" The true Christian life is about a changed heart, a lifestyle transformation that should be evident in every born again believers life.
Dear reader, you sowing to your flesh or to the Spirit of God? Your lifestyle testifies to which.
Thank You dear Jesus for coming to earth, dying and resurrecting to give me eternal life. Thank You Lord for saving me and for Your continued work of sanctifying me Holy Spirit so I can resemble Christ. Thank You Father God for choosing to save me.
Glory be to God forever and ever!!! I love You Lord and my greatest desire is to see You smile. Praise Jesus!!!
