Jesus My Comforter

As I lay here dear Lord I just feel numb. My own dad betrays me, the one person I trusted to have my back. Today has been such a turning point for me Lord. I will NEVER let anyone control me. No man nor family. I live for You only Lord Jesus. You understand, You comfort me, You give me strength beyond belief! The fact that I haven’t shed one tear is a testament of You oh Lord. In the current raging storm only You can provide me with such peace beyond understanding and this joy I still feel. At rock bottom when I’m all alone in the world truly You remind me that You are always with me. You remind me You are close to the broken-hearted and I feel You holding me tighter right now. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18 I continue to pray that I may see me just like You see me dearest Father. My only true Father. Your daughter is hurting now but this pain is not breaking me because You sustain me.
